Broken or Chipped Teeth
Chipped tooth got you hiding your smile?
No one likes to have a broken or chipped tooth and we at Smiles on Souris will do our very best to fix your tooth as quickly as possible. Depending on where the tooth is in your mouth and how large of a break or chip there is, there are several different solutions: Cosmetic bonding, porcelain crowns, veneers or a simple filling may be the solution. What is important is having it taken care of as quickly as possible to ensure the health of the tooth is maintained.
We have a couple of different options for fixing a chipped or broken tooth, depending on where it is in your mouth. At the front of the mouth, cosmetic bonding is a common fix for broken or chipped teeth. Large breaks may require a porcelain crown or a veneer.
In the back of the mouth, smaller chips or breaks may require a simple tooth-coloured filling. Back teeth generate a lot of force so fillings aren’t always appropriate. For larger chips or breaks involving a cusp of a tooth, an inlay or onlay may be a better option.
