If you are missing a tooth or teeth there are many options for replacing them. Dental implants, removable partial dentures and porcelain bridges are all options. When it comes to porcelain bridges there are advantages and disadvantages to them.
The advantages of porcelain bridges are:-they look great,-they don't create an ugly gray gum line that you see with metal bridges-they last for many years.
The disadvantages of them are:- the teeth on either side of the missing tooth or teeth must be ground down to be prepared for a restoration,-all the teeth in the dental bridge are connected so caring for your teeth becomes more difficult,-if one tooth in the bridge becomes problematic, the whole bridge needs to be replaced.
